Dell Boomi is being used to seamlessly integrate multiple software platforms across the company. The software solutions are primarily across finance, IT, and sales software solutions. My team leveraged Dell Boomi with our EPM tool, Host Analytics, to connect with various other data repositories, which gives us the right data to craft accurate forecasts and reports.

I'm not aware of major competitors to Dell Boomi. Dell Boomi feels like the de-facto standard that my Finance and IT teams have used for several years. We are happy with it.

Performance

I would rate Dell Boomi as highly performant. We have used it for 4+ years and have not had any major issues with availability or speed. We also have not observed performance degradation when connecting it with other software solutions.

My IT and Finance teams have noted that setting up the tool is a breeze. Dell Boomi has never caused an issue during a system implementation that I am aware of. We are pleased with the tool and recommend others consider it.
