Overall Satisfaction with Braze (formerly Appboy)

We use Braze to trigger lifecycle and ad hoc messaging to our 2-sided marketplace audiences. The product is used primarily by the Marketing team with support from product and engineering.
  • Segmentation - easy to segment users based on actions taken in product and user attributes.
  • Campaign setup - easy to use segments to build automated campaigns.
  • Support and resources - Braze onboarding team and available resources on implementation, use, and best practices are very thorough.
  • Data architecture flexibility - some limitations on how certain data points are stored. Important to understand how Braze's data is structured before implementing it.
  • Increased user engagement.
  • Increased user retention/revenue.
Braze is extremely easy-to-use and also very powerful and customizable - 3 things that usually don't go hand in hand for most marketing automation software.
The team has been quick to respond to any/all questions and provide helpful solutions to solve problems or suggest workarounds.
