Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity as our sole HRIS and payroll system. Our benefits administration is also handled in Paylocity. Essentially, we use Paylocity for all employees from on-boarding to off-boarding!
- Very user friendly.
- Great customer support.
- Administration is fairly straight forward.
- Reporting. They recently updated their reporting dashboard and it is even more confusing than it was before. Creating custom reports is either time consuming, costly or both.
- Benefits is in a separate portal. This means once you make a change to an employee's personnel file, you must wait overnight for the information to populate into the benefits portal.
- Customer service is great and nice, but sometimes issues take a while to get resolved. Recently we had a payroll reporting issue and it took more than 36 hours for an initial response and over a week for the report to get fixed. The customer service team did what they could and were able to generate what we needed on the back end, but it was frustrating.
Of the HRIS systems I mentioned, Paylocity is the best.
