Overall Satisfaction with Trakstar
We use Trakstar for our goal setting and annual review process across the entire organization. It allows us to collect self, peer, and manager feedback on an ongoing basis to help us maintain a focus on measurable goals. It also eliminates a lot of the traditional administrative work associated with the performance review process. In addition, Trakstar can be used to record notes on an ongoing basis.
- Trakstar sends out a lot of automated reminders to participants, encouraging them to take notes and provide feedback on a regular basis.
- Trakstar generates analysis (i.e., rater bais) automatically that would otherwise be labor intensive to do manually.
- Trakstar has a feature that allows administrators to see what each individual employee sees - this is critical in ensuring that the performance review process goes smoothly.
- Creating the reviews can be confusing for administrators, especially if you did not originally set up the system.
- Even though lots of automated reminders go out to employees, employees are not that interested in engaging with the system.
- Trakstar allows us to have a formalized review process that is not paper-based. This saves us substantial time and money.
- Trakstar helps employees know that they will have the opportunity for a formal conversation about their performance.
- However, employees overall do not like to use Trakstar and scored it low on the employee engagement survey.
I did not make the purchase decision for Trakstar, but at a previous job I used Reflektive. Many of the outcomes of the tool are the same, even if the product interface and language is slightly different.
