Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are currently using Viewpoint Spectrum for all reporting and job costing functions. It is very handy for change order logs and the document imaging function. We've needed a lot less paper around the office.

This is the only product we have used since opening the company.

Support Rating

Since their merger, the customer service function has really taken a downfall. I use to be able to get right to a rep and they were very helpful. Now, I have to wait for a long time and if I have an issue early in the morning they aren't open for support yet (not on East Coast time).

Alternatives Considered

QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate

Viewpoint has much more functionally and much easier to use. The reporting is a lot better and easier to read. However, in Timberline they have the certified reporting automatically transfer onto the forms along with all the quarterly reporting.

Likelihood to Recommend

The real-time reporting is great.
