This is used by CRM department. We use this for handling customer service incidents (Complaints and Problems).
- We use this for backing up data for unforeseen contingency.
- This helps our organization to compare, recover and replicate in case of disaster recovery.
- User specific notification configuration can be improved.
- Generating reports in SAP BW via Salesforce OwnBackup needs additional configuration to minimize the reporting delays.
- Cost effective.
- In-house Salesforce OwnBackup Support team is not required.
- Microsoft System Center, Veeam Backup & Replication and MSP360 Backup (formerly CloudBerry Backup)
The decision is a corporate office decision based on the usability and service agreements between customer and company.
