Overall Satisfaction with iOS

We use iPads for a specific user group to get roster information, weather information, schedules, etc. These are corporate owned assets. We also support end-users' iOS devices via BYOD by allowing them onto a mobile network with limited bandwidth and functionality. The iPads specifically are relatively intuitive for end-users to do their job functions, easy to update, maintain, etc. Administrative overhead is minimal from an IT department perspective.
  • Easy to use; intuitive for an end-user.
  • Behaves well in a mixed environment of networking equipment.
  • Mixed results in a Microsoft domain environment with Office support, but that is perhaps to be expected.
  • iOS, specifically iPads, have enabled various departments to become more mobile rather then be glued to a workstation.
I would rate Android and iOS equally, but for our business iOS seems to be better suited to the client base who are more familiar with it already (via personal devices.)
Lots of help articles online for just about everything under the sun. I have never personally had to engage Apple's support team to comment on their helpfulness.

Do you think iOS delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with iOS's feature set?

Yes

Did iOS live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of iOS go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy iOS again?

Yes

Good for casual computing, light use. I find the more heavy computing that is required the less likely an iOS device is suited. For emails, web browsing, etc. it performs well.
