AB Tasty is used in the E-commerce or Marketing department working closely with Web Development. It is used mainly to validate issues detected and to enhance the personalization experience. Once the tool is fully implemented, it gives us accurate information for our hypothesis, following a complete conversion optimization methodology.
- Number of experiments is unlimited.
- Experiments can overlap or not (I prefer not having overlapping).
- Widgets feature is great because you can quickly validate best practices.
- Google Analytics integration is fine but it requires code developing.
- Sometimes the information received is not accurate and they have to apply manual internal processes in order to fix it.
- Automatic insights about audience performance (ex. for an experiment running, giving info about public coming from Spain buy less).
- Increase conversion rates.
- Ability to validate new features before investing in development.
- Spread a conversion culture at the company.
I have been very comfortable from the beginning. I have kept close contact with their team, so I made great advances with the tool. It is necessary to have an onboarding session with them because you accelerate the learning process. That onboarding provides you advanced use of the tool in order to increase conversions.
