Overall Satisfaction with CrowdCompass
We use CrowdCompass for our annual conference, which hosts around 180 participants. We switched to a mobile application to save costs and time on a printed conference booklet. We also wanted to encourage more networking and participation through the application.
- Gamification: We were able to encourage participants to become more involved in the conference by using CrowdCompass's point system and offering prizes.
- Sponsor Advertising: We were able to incorporate more sponsorship options through the application, such as splash screens, banner ads, and push-button notifications.
- Discussion and Networking: Our participants could start networking with each other and planning meetings through the application before and during the conference.
- Easier ways for participants to create a profile initially. Some found it confusing.
- A calendar where participants can send each other invites for meetings.
- The ability to upload videos in the application.
- We saved money on printed materials and time.
- We saved staff time at the conference.
- We were able to show our Board of Directors that we were using new technology to make our processes more efficient.
CrowdCompass offers a lot more in terms of networking, sponsorship, and gamification. We also would not have been able to go without printed materials is we had used Sched. The return on investment for using CrowdCompass, even though it was more expensive, made switching to the application much more effective. Our board and participants gave it much better reviews.
