Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We realized a few years ago that, for the most part, our organization depended on tribal knowledge and passing on information verbally. If someone left the organization we suddenly had a fairly large knowledge gap and had to try and fill it. We implemented Nuclino to consolidate this information in an easily accessible format that was useful and timely.

Pros and Cons

Workspaces are helpful to segment information.
Being able to download files directly from Nuclino is useful.
Having the ability to link to external docs is useful.

Not having storage caps would be ideal.
Expandable subheadings would be ideal.
Being able to incorporate user branding/themeing.

Return on Investment

Direct source for knowledge.
Lowers number of times people have to ask others for input.
Helps reduce turnover cost.

I like Nuclino because the user experience has been the best by far. It's extremely user friendly and laid out simply and elegantly. I've really enjoyed using it and implementing it for my team. It's been useful getting all of our tribal knowledge in one database that we can contribute to when needed.

Usability

I love Nuclino's usability. The layout is clean, simple, easy to follow, and bright. I like that there is a read-only account option so that less-tech savvy people can still use it and they won't need to worry about deleting key information from the database. Similarly, I like the features that allow multiple contributors to have the same features to edit.

Support Rating

My team has an individual dedicated to content management and Nuclino is one of her job descriptions. It's nice knowing she is able to handle any issues that arise before we even realize they exist. We haven't had any technical issues since implementation so that's been a very pleasant experience.

Nuclino is an excellent service for companies or organizations with either a lot of information that needs to be accessible at a moment's notice or at companies with fairly high turnover paired with lots of information to consistently pass on. It would not be suitable for a retail business, for example, but would be helpful for an R+D firm or a B2B organization.
