Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Procurement

SAP Ariba Procurement is being used together with our ERP system, Infor LN, across most of the organization and provides a great overview for spending, invoices, and trading with customers and suppliers. It's giving some flexibility that is especially important in these times, being an online tool and being able to access it from everywhere with ease.
  • In general, user-friendly and easy to access.
  • Have to mention SaaS when mentioning "easy to access."
  • Giving a great overview for the business.
  • Easy to upscale for new and existing offices.
  • There is a bit of a learning curve before you get the easy to use feeling.
  • Missing out on few add-ins etc.
  • Can be hard to find information about the application (KB).
  • Departments has saved a lot of time managing vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintaining contracts and make them better.
I haven't really used other products over SAP Ariba for procurement purposes. I have used smaller products like Dektej Workbook that have a full suite for time management, procurement, invoicing, etc. Giving a completely different experience where I would say SAP Ariba is far further when making a modern piece of software.

Do you think SAP Ariba delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with SAP Ariba's feature set?

Yes

Did SAP Ariba live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of SAP Ariba go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy SAP Ariba again?

Yes

SAP Ariba Procurement is great to have in larger organizations where you want a great overview and maybe use some of the other SAP products on the market. SAP gives a good option to be in control over what vendors and suppliers you have and manage them properly. I'm not sure smaller companies would be benefiting as much especially due to the cost of the software. But it makes sense if you have a great portfolio of vendors, etc.
