Overall Satisfaction with DataMotion

We use DataMotion for all our encrypted messages to various government entities, families, contractors, etc. It is used by the entire agency/organizations. We have several users at all our locations throughout the agency/organization that have the ability to encrypt emails (containing PHI) to the various government entities, families, contractors, etc. so all healthcare information remains secure. Our email compliance policy says if you don't have an sccmha.org email address anticipate the message going through to you in DataMotion. I send about 30 emails per day through DataMotion to the State of MI, MI Dept of Health and Human Services,etc.it is very secure.

  • Always sends them without errors or issues to resolve.
  • Easy to use, sends me a notification when sent, also when it's been opened. It tells me how many of the individuals on the email thread have opened it.
  • DataMotion always you to resend and provides proof each time.
  • Great communication app.
  • The storage of previously sent emails drops off after a number of days, really would like to track for a longer period of time or an archived sent message queue.
  • The newer version/updated awhile back has been capacity, as the older version I kept getting messages that I reach my maximum per day limit. Thank you for fixing that feature.
  • I wish the message didn't go to recipient's junk mail so often. I started sending an Outlook message to first time recipient's to check their junk mail if they haven't received the message already as a heads up.
  • Improved our ability to send and receive signatures especially during COVID, everyone was working from home and we could send, they open, sign and return.
  • Improved our employees effectiveness to assist our consumers (what we call patients), we were able to move documents and process referrals, intakes, hospital records, EMR documents, releases etc. so much easier with DataMotion.
  • We were able to work with a skeleton administrative support staff in the office using DataMotion during COVID and staff working remotely. Our staff joke they could work more efficiently from home in their pjs, and no one would know.
  • Even now when we are back to full staff; we found how easily it worked and are sending a lot more documents thru Datamotion.
We didn't look to any others, someone recommend DataMotion and we've stuck with what works for us for over 7 years.
Because I haven't found any issues or flaws with your system. When I had issues, it wasn't long before it was changed to accommodate me. Not sure how you knew, but I'm guessing someone else might have said something or maybe the system told you I was at my limit each day and you expanded my abilities.
I've not had anyone say they couldn't figure out how to retrieve the message or attachments. Keep DataMotion in your message line, it will serve you well on other companies signing up with DataMotion.
We haven't discussed this, but I'm curious what other Community Mental Health agencies/organizations might be using it for that we've not thought of, please share.

Each time I use it I've always been grateful for the stored contacts. When it seems like I won't send to a recipient and a few weeks to several months later, I need to send to them again. Really helpful to be able to send it a click of an address. This saves "fat fingering" an address and it not going through.
Our documents generally are of an urgent nation, faxing them due to the size and urgency; glad we have it. Over time, we have found more uses for it than you can imagine. I can encrypt right to the Attorney General's email and he brings up the document right in court, very user and receiver friendly. Nice job on all your anticipating my every need.
