Overall Satisfaction with SurveyMonkey
SurveyMonkey has been used to provide surveys to users of software applications developed by our company. It is currently only used by the Software Development Department. It provides a turnkey solution for putting together comprehensive surveys and questions, and the full lifecycle and feedback loop for those questions and the users that answer them. It also provides comprehensive statistics on the results of the surveys deployed.
- Allows users to build surveys, including custom survey questions and/or survey templates for common applications.
- Provides a wide variety of distribution methods and means of collecting answers.
- Provides comprehensive results including graphs and diagrams that help interpret the results.
- Friendly reminders to help target audiences complete their survey.
- Customized survey forms that can include company branding/style.
- Wide variety of survey methods/question types (i.e. scale of 1 to 10, multiple answers, etc.)
- Simple surveys are free to design and deploy, but more sophisticated options require payment.
- SurveyMonkey provided a much needed end-user insight into software applications we developed.
- Provided a passive, non-obtrusive entry into our audience and their feedback.
We really didn't look at alternatives. The only alternatives we looked at was developing our own surveys, via email and/or baking them directly into our applications, but SurveyMonkey really did all the heavy lifting, so to speak, by providing a one-stop shop for constructing, deploying, and receiving survey feedback from your target audience.
