Overall Satisfaction with MySQL
Most of our internal applications use MySQL as their database. For example, our team owns a JVM tuning & testing platform will need to store each request coming to the platform and their status. We choose MySQL as our database.
- Easy to set up
- Easy to learn for beginners
- Multi-language support
- Scalability.
- Not efficient to handle big data sets.
- For beginner, choosing MySQL will save them a lot of time onboarding our projects
- We have also have dedicated team to support MySQL and they build strong infrastructure that makes the process of setting up a new MySQL database much easier. Anyone who needs a new MySQL database can finish the entire process in minutes.
More lightweight and easier to learn than Oracle Database. Amazon DynamoDB is a better choice for big data.
