Quickbooks [Desktop] Enterprise has allowed for more robust information allowing client managers to make critical decisions and pivot operations based on timely reporting and accuracy. The software's ease of use and functionality allows for bookkeepers to process information efficiently for that information to be provided timely.
The look and feel of [QuickBooks Desktop] Enterprise is very similar to the other desktop platforms. Clients need to have a proadvisor or solid accountant that is knowledgeable in the functionality and software's capability to be able to successfully implement the program with clients. In a matter of hours over a network setup a business can be up and running.
QuickBooks statement writer has been a huge asset. Running bonus calculations based on costing information that can be manipulated in excel has resulted in hours of time saved by having templates automatically updated with financial information from the software.
QuickBooks [Desktop Enterprise] is much easier to use. While Sage has true accounting control processes, the batch entry and other processes can be redundant and out dated. The Enterprise audit trail can track issues if necessary while allowing for easier functionality within the system. Many users are able to relate more to Enterprise than with other software due to its prevalence in the marketplace recruiters can likely hire someone with QuickBooks experience more often than Sage.
