Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Dropbox within the math department at Davidson Academy. We have a departmental dropbox with shared folders as well as a subfolder for each individual within the department.

Pros and Cons

Real-time Shared Documents
Ability to access all department documents in one place
Ability to edit work without having to send a single document back and forth between team members.

I wish there was a way to better manage conflicted copies of documents.

OneDrive

Dropbox is more easily accessible by users outside of our school domain.

We keep track of student calculator codes. We have one master spreadsheet that all members of the math department have access to. That way, we can all add information from our students to one centralized location. In addition, we can look back at past years to check students' calculator codes from years when they were in a colleague's class.
