Overall Satisfaction with Bloomreach Engagement (formerly Exponea)

We are a CXM Consultancy and we are using Bloomreach Engagement to deliver CXM transformation programs to our clients. We cover different parts of the Bloomreach Engagement lifecycle:
- Pre-sales helping our clients understand why Bloomreach Engagement will add them value
- CXM Strategy to define how our clients can get the most out of Boomreach Engagement
- Technical Implementations
- Managed Services making sure the platform runs as expected and we keep adding new functionalities and use cases
  • All in one. We have experience working with other CDP/Marketing suites and it is really difficult to connect their different modules. Bloomreach Engagement has been built to be a single product which makes everything easy to use
  • Fast and real-time. Other platforms struggle with getting real-time volumes or segmenting based on real-time events, that is not the case with Bloomreach Engagement
  • GCP partnership. Being deployed over GCP and having BigQuery as raw data export makes really easy to expand and connect with existing stacks
  • Out of the box use cases in the platform. The start right consultancy package deploys some plug & play use cases, but it would be great if those would be embed in the product
  • Next Best Action models. We have recommendations as part of the features, but it would be great to have a decisioning engine to produce 1:1 recommendations based on the listened events
  • Server Side Personalization. Some of our clients are looking to deliver the final web experiences directly through their CMS solutions and not through client-side libraries
  • As a consultancy firm, Bloomreach has helped us expand our CDP services (increase revenue through CXM strategy, implementation and manage services)
  • Decrease the effort of implementation
  • Increase the engagement rates
We work with other CDP vendors, Bloomreach being one of our last partners. We can say that even though Bloomreach is not well known as our other partners, it is really a good match in terms of capabilities and it can compete with the big boys. The advantage of Bloomreach Engagement is that it has not a legacy of product in the background that it has to maintain or integrate, so it offers a fresh look and all in one platform that the other vendors are struggling to offer.
Because it is awesome!!! I can give a long list of example where Bloomreach Engagement is able to offer advance functionalities in a really easy to use way:
- Aggregates: this is something that other platforms don't offer or you need to do it through API's
- Real-Time volume counts: this is useful when building journeys, other platforms either don't offer then in real-time or they give sampled info
- Segment to activation links: in other platforms moving from segmentation to activation requires several steps, in Bloomreach Engagement that is a one click thing
I have not worked with Bloomreach support so often to be able to give feedback in this area. What I can say is that the partner, sales and pre-sales teams are one of the best ones I have seen. They are always flexible and they respond support quickly. This is a great advantage against other companies, because clients are perceiving you as an agile company and not as time consuming one.
I have only been involved in the deployment of one Bloomreach project and the MVP implementation was 3 months. It is important to notice that we work with >1000M€ revenue businesses

I think Bloomreach Engagement is a good fit for 80% of industry. If the organization is looking for a sophisticated data model, for advance data management capabilities, decisioning or model building capabilities that is where I see Bloomreach Engagement capabilities not being the strongest. But for the level of maturity that the industry has right now, Bloomreach offers all the required capabilities to deliver great omnichannel experiences
