Overall Satisfaction with Parse.ly

Parse.ly is being used by the whole organization, specifically by our content teams. They use it to monitor traffic and see what is performing well, what is struggling, and what we should write more of.
  • Real time analytics
  • Shows multiple filters with ease
  • Easy to use
  • Author doesn't update along with an article.
  • Limit on the number of time periods that can show at once.
  • Deeper analytics can become confusing.
  • Helped us improve revenue by identifying key articles.
  • Highlighted the best performing evergreen content.
  • We can identify days where traffic has massively improved.
Parse.ly works better than Google Analytics. This is mainly due to its simplicity whereas Google Analytics can quickly become quite complicated with a lot of moving parts. Parse.ly, on the other hand, is quick to learn and understand while also providing a lot of information.
It is a simple-to-use platform while still having a wide amount of functions. As a publisher with multiple brands, you can easily jump between them and identify everything from individual articles up to a much wider view of how the whole company or a single author is performing.
I would definitely keep using Parse.ly. It has become a daily part of my workload and a website that I almost always have open. Being able to check real-life traffic as the day goes on is a crucial part of our job and something Parse.ly does really well.
