Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

Coping documents for record keeping and tax filings.
  • Easy to sort documents.
  • Easy to resize copies.
  • Processes quickly.
  • The NUAANCE Adjustment controls were better than the Kofax version.
  • Can't adjust copying as easily as Nuance did with out great effort that can't be remembered.
  • Scanning options should be in Heading Bar area for quick access.
  • It helps save time making storage documents.
  • Allows for sorting of unsorted documents.
  • Can't adjust scanning options easily or at all.
It was and still is a learning process. I need to set the scanning once and have that setting the default.
I've called several time and the problems are resolved but soon are undone by the program. Specifically setting the scanner to eliminate scratch lines or background colors if in B & W. Colors are accurately displayed, and the scratch line show up as well.

I use the sort, typing, importing and exporting, cropping options.
It does its job well with perfect documents. Its sort feature is use often. Its moving of documents into and out of documents is good. It does not allow for correction of imperfections while scanning, like scratch lines as easily as Nuance did.
