We currently use [Planful (formerly Host Analytics)] for budgeting.
- Easy to use.
- [Planful] can run reports on several platforms so everyone in our team can use it.
- It helped us improve workflow.
- Formatting, excel is still a bit better.
- Sometimes not as intuitive as we hoped it to be.
- System has some bugs to be worked out.
- It enables us to pull up information on what we are forecasting for company IT costs for the upcoming years.
- Standardized reporting
Yes, Its helped a lot for budgeting.
I would say its moderately, doesn't take a computer scientist but does take bit.
Not super difficult I would say.
We've evaluated some other tools, [Planful (formerly Host Analytics)] is what we've stuck with.
