Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headset 700 Series

We use the Cisco Headset 700 Series across our business to provide unified communications tools to our PC and hard phone based users. These devices are comfortable to wear and provide excellent voice quality. The users of these devices love them and [think] they are much better than the old ones they used to use. The management of the devices is done by the Control hub, which is great.
  • Noise cancellation
  • Easy to update
  • Lightweight
  • More wireless options
  • More flexible boom mic
  • SAN option with larger ear pads
  • Ease of set up
  • End user deployment, no need for IT to visit PC
  • Easy to manage
It was as simple as plugging it into the USB port and it was ready to go. The features and funtionality just work with the apps. [There is] no requirement to tune or change the headset itself. The apps that it works with are just happy to use it in the best way possible. From a management perspective, it is easy to see who has what headset and where.
All our meetings flow nice and we get things done faster. There is no more background noise. The "can you hear me" in meetings just disappears and the device is so easy to use and so simple to see if you are on mute or not, with the external inline call controls.
We can control and see who is using the headset from the Cisco Webex Control hub, this is easy to show who has what headset and on what version of firmware they are currently using it. You can configure the device to download new firmware which installs automatically without users' input.
Much lighter for end-users, much easier to use for administrators, much simpler to see who has what headset and with what firmware that they have. The user voice and audio experience are far greater with the Cisco [Headset] 700 [Series] over the Jabra device, which helps end-users communicate without the "can you hear me" comments.

When asked what headset I have by colleagues, which happens a lot on video calls, I have to explain the Cisco Headset 700 Series and how to get one for them. They like the size and the voice quality. They like the noise reduction features and the one called LED that lights up to tell everyone local you are busy on a call.
