Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop
Photoshop has been implemented to assist in developing advertising, assets for animation and videos, designing branding, concept materials and more. Acting as the entirety of the creative department, it is necessary to have a powerful, flexible, and consistent design platform. The ability to work seamlessly with other Adobe programs without special exporting is a major time-saver.
- Very few glitches or poorly designed features
- Massive tool set
- Integration with other software
- Needs consistency with other software i.e. same hotkeys or expected behavior between tools in Ps and Ai
- universal Ps files instead of special .psb for large formats
- Migration of 3rd party plugins on update
- Integration with other software. i.e Ae, Pr etc.
- Quick template setup for different formats
- cross-version file support
- Ease of use even between updates
- Consistency in performance saves time
- Far easier to create professional branding and improve image.
Other software may work well, and possibly better for some people. But as Photo shop has become the standard, there is no beating the interface and functionality. The ability to work cross-application with native file formats is an immeasurable time and headache saver on a day to day basis. Where you lack simplicity you gain flexibility and power.
