Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets
We use Google Sheets for collaboration with our clients - sharing data on everything from customer interviews to cost estimates. Also use it to plan events across the USA. It's great how each workbook can contain different sheets like Excel - but much easier to share with others. It helps with managing events and collaborating with others across departments and locations.
- Sharing control is fantastic. Can assign editors or add viewers.
- Easy to use. Love how it functions like Excel, but it's much better. Easier to use and intuitive.
- Part of the Google suite of apps. I've been using Sheets longer than Slides or Docs, and it's imbedded in our organiaztion.
- The functions could be slightly improved. Easier to access things like pivot tables.
- Would like to be able to add specific numbers together without having to use the + sign. Point and click to add would be easier. I miss that in both Excel and Sheets.
- For some reasons I don't have an easy access point to all of my sheets. They are in Google Docs, but I usually have to load up my cash flow manager (a sheet I created years ago to help me monitor cash flow) in order to access Sheets.
- Helps me save time by inviting others to collaborate. Hard to measure ROI, but I'd guess at least 3-4 hours a week in saved time.
- Great for preparing and sharing detailed cost estimates and profit projections.
- Wonderful for helping keep the cats in the same sandbox for jams.
Much easier to share and collaborate with Sheets than Excel. Also I can access from any computer anywhere because everything is in the cloud. I love the fact I can access Sheets form my mobile devices. This isn't possible with Excel. Love all the Google work apps. Wish I could figure out how to move all of our email to Google so we can have a smoother operation like we do with Sheets.
