Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce

I utilize [BigCommerce] for my online sales. I have a small hand-crafting business and BigCommerce has helped me to grow [my] online presence.
  • They have fantastic customer service - anytime I have any questions, I can count on answers!
  • I love the user-friendly templates that they offer so that I can have a professional store, without paying somebody to do the online aspect for me.
  • The value I get for my monthly rate is excellent.
  • I don't understand meta tags, etc., and wish that there [was] better information to help me hurdle that.
  • I wish I could see what I am putting forth before I publish it, instead of publishing it and then realizing that something looks odd.
  • Since the shutdowns in 2020, BigCommerce has been an invaluable lifeline for me to make some money when other avenues of revenue were not available. I could not have made it through the past 18 months without my BigCommerce storefront. - Thank you
  • Honestly, because I wasn't able to operate my crafting business as usual since the Covid-19 lockdowns, by having the BigCommerce storefront, I actually was able to see that maybe other avenues might not have been as cost-effective as I had believed them to be. Therefore, I have learned a lot over the past 18 months that I had not learned in the 7 years prior.
Well, honestly I haven't gotten to a point where I really need to scale up my BigCommerce store to a higher level, but I can see that there are some features that I hope to be able to afford to scale up to in the very near future.
Well, I'm not sure I know exactly what an API is, but if I understand it enough, then I utilize several other apps that integrate with my BigCommerce store, such as Mail Chimp and Quickbooks, which makes a lot of things so much easier!
I can't even recall the other names of webshops I used prior to BigCommerce, but I did have 2 other experiences from 2008 to 2013, prior to coming on with BigCommerce. I suffered daily trying to make those sites work the way they should. I also hated trying to ask questions because I would get somebody [...] that would have scripted answers that felt so impersonal. I rarely have to call BigCommerce for help, but when I do, it is like talking to a friend. They actually "talk" to you and help you figure out what is wrong. For the most part, I am not literate in advanced computer knowledge, so having BigCommerce in my corner, makes my small crafting business actually seem like it really is important. I truly appreciate being one of their customers!

I do a lot of vendor shows (except since Covid-19 caused many changes to those venues), and have interactions with others that are small crafting types of business, and I have definitely recommended BigCommerce to many people who are trying to build up their small businesses.
