Overall Satisfaction with Parse.ly

We use Parse.ly for content analytics, recommendation, trending now, curation, and generating more traffic on [the] entire site. It gives [a] good recommendation on trending now content based on end-user interest. Their best product [is] pages viewed, age time user on the page, visitors on the site, visitor on the site for x time, how many social interactions by the user, how many [users] read the posts.

Parse.ly has very rich products and market use in media for content analytics. [The] dashboard provides [a] holistic view on the overall site visitor's information and what needs improvements. [The] dashboard is divided based on sections, author, posts, pages, etc., on the site to get granular level analytics based on functionalities.
They still have some room for improvements on reporting, matrices, and [the] dashboard. Also, they should implement defensive [checks] on their API, so during any circumstances, if API is down, it should give fallback data, and [the] user should get [a seamless] experience. They are [the] best in the industry for those functionalities.
I [was] not [involved] in making this decision. [...] Their content analytics product and functionality [are] very good in the market and we have [spent] enough time implementing it. We will definitely renew Parse.ly and it will be win-win situation for both.

Well: Their technical implementation is very strong, and [the] team knows what their business function is. This product is best for analytics on-site to get to know how many users viewed pages, for how long, which pages are most viewed, how many users visited the site again, which page is generating more traffic on the site, and users like that content.

Less: Should add [a] defensive check on API, so when it is down, it should have some fallback.
