Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
DraftSight allows us to equip multiple individuals in our organization with easy CAD software for many different applications. Whether it be in engineering, management, quality control, or even purchasing, this tool empowers our organization to get their work done and move towards a common goal, success. Thanks for such a quality product coupled with world-class support and training.
- Modifying existing drawings
- Determining measurements for shop workers
- Printing blueprints for the shop or field fabricators
- Occasionally has crash issues
- DraftSight allows us to have multiple seats at a lower cost, reducing overhead
- We designed an expanded blast booth in DraftSight, which allowed us to perform this work in house.

AutoCAD LT is a good product, with similar features to DraftSight, however, the value that DraftSight offers makes it a much better choice for our organization, as we can have it in use by a much larger pool of our employees vs. having LT installed on just a few workstations.
