Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Mailchimp is used across my organization for both myself and my clients. This platform allows us to create email sequences for businesses offering freemiums within funnels or a website. Mailchimp has opened up another line of communication for our clients, allowing them to market and re-target leads and prospects at the click of the button. We are able to upload lists of clients who have recently purchased and opted in - allowing my marketing agency clients to receive reviews, display unique offers to prospects, and share the latest news. This simple template-based service allows you to schedule emails that have been extremely useful for e-commerce clients offering newsletters.
- Mailchimp allows you to personally target each subscriber in a mass sent email - with merge tags that import key pieces of information. An email like this has the ability to display first and last name, address, etc.
- This platform stores multiple lists of contacts in one tab. This is particularly useful for those running different campaigns and offers.
- The campaign setup is extremely simple to navigate. The templates are fully customizable, whilst being easy to use with a drag and drop service.
- Mailchimp could accommodate for more spacing options - allowing you to edit templates to look more organic, at present, you’re only able to stack elements rather than editing the spacing between them.
- I would like to see more campaign options, for example - if someone does x, y happens. This is a nonexistent feature for the plan that I am currently on.
- It would be fantastic to have more customizable elements. This could include more dividers, photo displays (different shapes, aspect ratios, etc).
- This platform has increased revenue on average for my clients by 15%. This has opened up further opportunities, with lists growing each day.
- Personally, my company has a list of over 2,400 subscribers, driving hundreds of unique visitors to my funnels each week.
Two great elements within this platform are the social icons and the buttons, accommodating for an easy call to action and driving traffic to other online channels. This directs prospects to populated profiles, with value-driven feeds, persuading the user to follow/like/subscribe. I feel as though this has opened up further opportunities for myself and my clients, as social proof is a fundamental pillar to building trust.
I have converted clients for myself and the clients I serve within my digital marketing agency. Two important lessons I’ve learned: 1. Following up with your clients is also necessary as Mailchimp definitely solves what some may regard as an obstacle for higher sales. 2. Targeting a prospect personally is incredibly important so always try to make use of the tags.
