Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

Over the years we've used a variety of email marketing tools. None have given us the power and flexibility of ActiveCampaign. The automation, deliverability, and ease of use for the platform are unlike many other tools which are either too complex to use or too simple to be useful. We trust the tool so much that we exclusively work with it in our agency and recommend it to all of our clients.
  • Marketing automation is straightforward, powerful, and became the backbone for all of the marketing funnels that we build for clients.
  • Reporting is robust enough to give our team an idea of what campaigns are working but without overwhelming them with useless details.
  • Advanced CRM features have allowed us to use ActiveCampaign as more than just an email tool but to drive sales pipelines.
  • In the past, the email composition tool started to feel a bit dated and what appeared on screen wouldn't perfectly match the emails as they appeared in the email client.
  • Sometimes the CRM feature became a little distracting from the core function of the email service where clients would get frustrated in using it for sales.
  • When scheduling broadcast emails it would be nice to have a calendar view where you can see what content is scheduled and a better way to collaborate with the writing team.
  • It's helped us nurture contacts that signed up through our client's website and has led to hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales per year.
  • Re-engagement campaigns that are baked into the platform have helped us to filter through and improve upon the quality of people signing up for our list.
  • Clients are more confident working with our agency when we can show them that this tool will help them build closer relationships with their customers.
ActiveCampaign has a huge advantage over the other platforms in that there is enough power under the hood to offer the same automation as the other platforms but without creating a headache in the process of organizing it all. Mailchimp at its heart is still a freemium tool that fails to bring together true marketing automation, Keap/Infusionsoft was wildly powerful but so complex to use that no one could figure it out, ConvertKit is very simple and focused on blogger types and Ontraport had extremely powerful landing page builders but without the ability to create complex automatons. ActiveCampaign does a good job of addressing a lot of the negative points of other platforms in an easy-to-use way.

Can't imagine a better well-rounded tool to trust your business with. If you're looking for an all-in solution that will grow with your business this is a great choice. For select businesses that are looking to collect funds or track products within their ESP, however, might need to look elsewhere if you're looking for that kind of functionality that you won't have to use half a dozen tools to bolt on to get that to work.
