Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series

We were looking for a VOIP solution that would be easy to set up and would allow us to use physical phones in the office while also allowing for remote work away from the office. Right off the bat, 8x8 X Series was super easy to set up, and they've got really great customer service that was always easy to reach and to work with. Having the ability to answer phone calls coming into the office while at home or elsewhere has made things much easier for us, and the virtual assistant/routing options are great as well!

  • Some of the online dashboard features can be a little difficult to figure out, but they've improved this over the years that we've been using them.
  • Setting up the different lines and numbers can be complicated, but it'll really depend on your particular setup.
  • Mobile/computer app for remote access.
  • Auto attendant.
  • 8x8 X Series has allowed us to function during the pandemic with significantly increased remote work without missing a beat, so the ROI on that is pretty substantial and probably not truly quantifiable.
  • 8x8 X Series allows us to be flexible with our work hours, allowing employees to work elsewhere when necessary (e.g. lockdowns, appointments, family matters, etc.).

Coming from the perspective of a small office, we've really appreciated the flexibility that 8x8 X Series has allowed us to practice. We can answer and route phone calls remotely while not in the office, and nobody would ever know we weren't in the office. Also having an auto attendant that's easy to manage can add a layer of professionalism and help us by routing calls a little easier.
