Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
We use [WatchGuard] Authpoint to authorize software VPNs created with the Watchguard corporate firewall. In this way, we allow employees to smart working safely and adhering to the TISAX IT security certification. My colleagues can connect to company servers and use all IT services as if they were in the company.
- I really appreciate the authorization via App which produces expiring codes, rather than sending via notification.
- We have implemented two management servers for [WatchGuard] Authpoint, but if the first goes down it is not immediate for the second to go up.
- [WatchGuard] Authpoint has allowed us to avoid the freezing of business activities in such a difficult period for the whole world.
We immediately evaluated [WatchGuard] Authpoint because we use Watch[G]uard systems and we were lucky to find a product that worked and didn't waste our time. As I already mentioned, some training and user management is required.Our configuration also includes a backup server. The system is used only for software VPNs
Inglese Currently, we manage users via two internal servers. If the rest of the system works in the cloud it is transparent to us.We are happy with the operation in general and the system is rightly calibrated towards maximum security: users have to accept some rules that are imposed by this system.
The use of the app has been imposed as the only second authentication system. This has made us compliant with the TISAX certification, and the users have received it well, [on average]. We would all like to do without extra rules, but this system offers an excellent degree of security for authentication.
We rated [WatchGuard] Authpoint for SSO, but we weren't very happy with it. But there is still an evaluation still to be completed. We needed to quickly solve the problem of secure authentication of software VPNs.
