Overall Satisfaction with Pega Platform

We develop applications for our customer for multiple domains like Insurance, Banking, Finance, Material Management etc... We can develop end to end application using Pega Platform. Pega Platform helps to develop the application quickly and deploy to the higher environment. We can easily manage the application versioning so that set of application be used to respective application and it be easily extended and enhanced.

  • Work delegation
  • API invocation
  • Specialization
  • Debugging of Java code if we write for custom requirement
  • We can easily delegate the rules to business user so that they can configure the data as per the business needs like data type, decision tables etc
  • A very powerful concept has introduced is UI pages which can be leveraged to capture the data instances without creating a case.
  • DXAPI is another powerful way which can be used to run the Pega application in native language and can be achieved using React js
If I compare the Pega Platform over any programming language then I will 10 out 10 because of fast development and deployment. Pega Platform provides set of OOTB rules which can be used to develop a new application as per the requirement. I would rate 10 out 10.

Pega Platform is enhancing its product and launching new features day by day which help to achieve customers needs. If I talk about the earlier version of Pega Platform (i.e. pega v5 and 6.3) there were many numbers of limitations in Pega Platform and if we need to do some customization then needed to write custom java and jave scripts to achieve the functionally. Now I can say Pega Platform is running with market trends and demand. Pega Platform is giving all the options which support the current technologies like decisioning capabilities, real time processing, mashup, process fabrics etc..
Pega Platform has introduced the low code feature, using app studio seasonal and professional developer can develop application easily and quickly. The initial application can be build by Business analyst and product owner who has less knowledge of Pega Platform, further application can be enhanced/extended by professional developer. We can develop end to end application and promote to higher environment. Easily we can perform parallel development using branch.

No not required to purchase premium support if we have purchased enterprise application and it's service.
Yes - yes there are several bugs we found during implementation and reported to Pega for fix.
There was a project where its node were going down and that were getting escalated by our customer and we contacted to Pega GCS and they have setup a bridge with cloud engineer to fix the issues over weekends.
