Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office)

This system is used as our main phone line. It is used across the whole department. We each have our own line and general line. This system is good because it allows us our own line and forwards our calls to our cell phones. Since we all are not in the office most of the time we do not miss calls and get more work done overall. It is very helpful.

  • Voicemail to email.
  • Group voicemail.
  • Voicemail greeting.
  • Overall.
  • User platform is confusing.
  • Setting up phone lines is hard.
  • Customer service is lacking.
  • Zero help when technical problems.
  • Negative. Was using a system way too expensive.
  • No sales rep to help me use it or change my plan.
  • Allows calls to ring to cell phone without revealing our numbers.
So far it’s fine but I haven’t used for long enough to to know.

Seems to be more suited for larger companies with a need for more technological aspects and someone who runs their databases and services. If you are not technology savvy this is too hard to use and the customer service and training they [offer] is virtually nonexistent to the point it isn’t [usable].
