Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office)

We are currently using 8x8 as a company-wide solution for our phone system. It addresses our need to have mobile solutions whereas we are always on the go. With 8x8 we can answer the office phone no matter where we are. Additionally, we can easily forward, monitor, and address all phone needs with ease. It also provides a fax solution for us that alleviates the need for us to have an additional line for the very few times we need it throughout the year.

  • We cut our lines from 4 to 1 with 4 users.
We had traditional phone lines prior to 8x8 and this made it so much easier.
The few times that I've needed support from 8x8, the service has been outstanding. The reps were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Additionally, and more importantly, they were swift in implementing a solution for me. I didn't have to wait on hold forever and they solved my problems almost immediately.
The product is simple to use. The apps for mobile devices are clean as well, making it so that even someone who isn't "tech-savvy" can enjoy the experience.

I believe 8x8 X Series is well suited for a small to medium business where the key players are always on the move. The capability of having the phone system at the ready no matter where you are is wonderful. Additionally, calls can easily be forwarded from one user to another or outside the organization if you wanted to forward to another person.

I'm not sure it would be so well suited as an enterprise solution for a large organization, though admittedly, there may be options within the program that I'm unaware of that make it the right solution for these customers.
