Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office) to communicate with our office and teams outside the United States. It also allows us to communicate with SMS, WhatsApp, and other methods for our teams using 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office).

User interface can be a bit too simplified, which makes it hard to find things in other menus

Alternatives Considered

We chose the plan and options we are on because we needed phones to work in countries like Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. Having a system that works natively in countries where we operate was huge for us. It would be great if it included China, but unfortunately it doesn't.

It is great if you have a small team or a growing team and need phone service. The ability to use your computer or mobile phone as a soft phone as well as getting a desk phone is great. Many services want to charge extra for soft phones or require a desk phone to use the soft phone. 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office) lets you set the service up however you need, which is great.
