Overall Satisfaction with Abila MIP Fund Accounting
We use MIP for our daily tracking of expenses and revenues. This system is used by staff in our governmental agency to have a clear, detailed picture of our financial transactions. This allows for detailed transparency of our business. The reports we can generate from this system are easy to create, review and share both internally and externally. Many of the reports are generated for routine audits we have by state fiscal providers and auditors.

- Some codes established such as a GL code can't be changed once they are created

We are a government office but are also considered non-profit and tax exempt. MIP meets our needs to manage funds from state, federal, and private agency funders and as well as managing our incoming revenue from our clients/customers.
I began using this system over 15 years ago in a staff position. We have had the system since 1998 and it has provided all of our needs for the past 18 years. We have not really looked elsewhere for an alternative option as a result of the satisfaction with this system.
