Overall Satisfaction with Abila MIP Fund Accounting

We use MIP Fund Accounting to track all our different revenue streams. We also do financial reporting of all our finances in MIP. It is used across the whole organization as we do budgeting for more than one department.
  • The customizing of a report that can be drilled down for the detail you are looking for.
  • Also it is a plus that you can memorize transactions to be able to just change the amount data. So this is a big time saver.
  • The design layout to jump between more than one function on the main page is an easy way to navigate through the program.
  • That it gives you a warning for a project code that is not valid but you check and see it active in the list.
  • That inactive item comes up in the default entry of a field. It should be out of an activity for us in a dropdown [menu]. It should only be looked at in the chart of accounts to see if needs to be reactivated.
  • The help function should be laid out in a better user-friendly manner.
  • It generates accurate reports
  • It allows us to create a detailed budget
  • Makes it easy to track our daily income
It has been successful in tracking our many streams of income. We track the income from three different streams.
It works very well for us as a nonprofit business. It allows us to track down our revenue from our retail and programming departments. It also tracks the other department's spending well so we can see where we need to add to the budget or subtract.
