Overall Satisfaction with Abila MIP Fund Accounting
We use MIP to account for over 50 federal, state and private foundation grants. It allows us to adequately report to our various funding sources on the time frame that they want to see. MIP does not box us into fixed timelines.The reporting services within MIP are virtually unlimited.
- The reporting package has so many variables that I am able to print reports that exactly match what my funders and managers want to see.
- The system has various checks and balances written into the program that significantly cut down on errors - for example by setting up the system dates we have eliminated key punch errors to the wrong periods.
- The security allows me to only give staff the exact level information needed in their positions.
- I honestly can't think of anything.
- It allows me to maximize our grant funding
We currently have in excess of 50 grants from various funding sources that range in grant amounts for $5,000 to $2.5million - with MIP the reporting time is the a few seconds in both cases - it has made it more feasible to accept the smaller grants.
MIP has grown with us over the last 30 years we have not encountered a situation that MIP has not been able to handle so I have not had any reason to look at other products.
