Overall Satisfaction with Acronis True Image
We basically use it to image our own laptops and workstations, but we have used it to create images from some POS systems at our clients' facilities. True Image saved the day on that since we could use dism at the very moment since the image got corrupted.
Pros
- Imaging OS for future reference.
- Prevents malware on such images.
- Easy backup method.
Cons
- Maybe price for the end-user. Some think it's kind of expensive for a household, given that they could have Clonezilla for free.
- Better support for third party backup providers like Wasabi.
- Better mobile UI.
- Having a tool that can help us avoid malware and ransomware is always beneficial.
- Using the tool to deploy 4 or more laptops from a preconfigured image is awesome.
- Having an image backup for the executives' laptops is very helpful.
- Veeam Backup & Replication and Macrium Reflect
It's more targeted on single deployments and you can backup multiple PCs if you need to, also the imaging software is the best, paid solution. Veeam can compare but I think it is on a different feature set than Acronis TI.
