Overall Satisfaction with Act-On Software
We use Act-On as part of our lead nurturing process, and have our Contact and Lead databases synchronized with our CRM. We also have Prospecting and Media databases that exist in only Act-On, and are not in our CRM. We use Act-On for product introductions, newsletters, media outreach, and landing pages. The results of the campaigns are shared with the sales team and upper management. We also embed forms created in Act-On into our website and use automated emails to forward leads to our sales team.

It helps us keep our Lead database clean by allowing us to remove people from our CRM who do not productively interact with us. It also helps us consolidate a variety of outbound marketing activities in one platform.

- The social distributions didn't render well, so we don't use Act-On for social media marketing. Instead, we distribute directly from each platform.

We used to use a combination of SugarCRM and INBOX25, but we moved to a Microsoft platform and had to go to a compatible platform. Act-On was the perfect fit since it was compatible with both Sugar CRM and Dynamics CRM, which made our change over and integration relatively easy. Marketo is a very robust platform, but really more suited to larger companies using Salesforce. Act-On seems a better fit for a smaller organization like ours.
