Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

We use it as a sales and marketing CRM, but our success and support team trickles in there sometimes too. We also try to use it to calculate commission.
  • Marketing automation (ok)
  • Price
  • That's literally all I can think of
  • Product: built backward in a lot of ways and is incredibly unsmooth to work with
  • Server goes down a lot
  • Buggy as all get out
  • Negative on where our engineers spend their time
  • Negative on being able to hold a single customer record across all departments
  • Positive on being able to have a task view (though this is basic for any CRM)
Infusionsoft was terrible for us, but other than Infusionsoft every other CRM product I've used seemed better (from a sales perspective) than AC. HubSpot I think is the nice middle between user-friendly and simple for a company of our size. Again, if you are smaller than we are AC might not be bad. It's a little buggy but not bad for a smaller business.
Honestly, if you are 5-10 people this might be awesome because of price and simplicity. That being said, if you plan to scale at all, pay for a better CRM. We got it hastily when we were about 20 employees but are switching now and the switch couldn't come sooner for us.
