Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
ActiveCampaign is being used by the sales and marketing department. As a small business with positive growth, it was the first CRM implemented by the company. It helps us connect and engage with our current customers and helps to manage prospects and leads. The main idea is for better email marketing and contact management but with simplicity in mind and still robust enough.
Pros
- Tutorials.
- Reporting.
- Customer service.
- Ease of templates and customization.
Cons
- Explain more real-life scenarios of when or why to use certain tools. For a novice, many tools can be overwhelming or time to learn. Just better “picture-painting” of why some tools were developed or help describe tools that are best for small business versus enterprise.
- I just can’t think of any other cons. It really is a fantastic solution and fun to work with
- Time for more sales activities as it organizes everything in one spot.

Without naming other CRM vendors, I researched ten. Some who are very well known and have experience, others who have been around for about 10 years, and others who are very new or I have never heard of before.
My experience has only dealt with either Salesforce or Netsuite. Those were good for enterprise but way too much stuff and pricey for small business. ActiveCampaign, in the end, was a very easy choice.
