Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

[ActiveCampaign] is used for communication with our clients, and it is used by the marketing team[.] We design our newsletters and maintain our client list in ActiveCampaign.
  • Email designer
  • Automations
  • Response and site tracking
  • Landing page design
  • Support
  • Advanced search of contacts
  • Performance reports
  • Speed of platform
  • More user friendly navigation like breadcrumbs
  • Much higher response and conversion rates
More features, but still affordable

Do you think ActiveCampaign delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ActiveCampaign's feature set?

Yes

Did ActiveCampaign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ActiveCampaign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ActiveCampaign again?

Yes

[ActiveCampaign] is perfect for regular marketing communication. It is not quite smart if you often need to write personal emails to a certain contact - there the templates are very limited, cannot be designed like the campaign designer. So: perfect for everything that can be [standardized], based on countless automation possibilities, but doesn't quite work for following up a client personally.

Using ActiveCampaign

1 - marketing

  • communication with clients
  • internal communication
  • personalized campaigns and automations for our clients
  • B2C communicaiton
We are fully satisfied. We will expand the use of the tool.

Evaluating ActiveCampaign and Competitors

Yes - Mailchimp. It was not professional enough
  • Price
  • Product Usability
value for price
we would not change it

ActiveCampaign Implementation

understand before starting to use, to avoid mistakes that are hard to retrospectively correct.
Yes - first we tested with a few contacts then we gradually increased our contact database and in a few months we were ready to use in full. But we are still learning new things frequently after 2,5 years.
Change management was a small part of the implementation and was well-handled
  • understanding the way the system works.
  • integration with our crm

ActiveCampaign Training

It required several hours of playing around. I recommed only for those who have a literacy for such tools

Configuring ActiveCampaign

No - there is no facility to customize the interface
Some - we have added small pieces of custom code - it was easy

ActiveCampaign Support

ProsCons
Quick Resolution
Good followup
Knowledgeable team
Problems get solved
No escalation required
Immediate help available
Support understands my problem
Support cares about my success
Quick Initial Response
None
I did not. I hardly need a support, everything can be found on the support page, which is mainly the quickest way to get something resolved. If I need additional help I reach for the support team via email. This always work.
the onboarding support was very helpful and professional.
Live chat would be even better :)

Using ActiveCampaign

ProsCons
Like to use
Relatively simple
Easy to use
Technical support not required
Well integrated
Consistent
Quick to learn
Convenient
Feel confident using
Lots to learn
  • automations
  • email designer
  • form creation - design limitations
Yes - There are only a few functions working in the mobile app. It would be impossible to have all the features. But it is useful to track for example the progress of a campaign via the app.
sometimes it is tiresome to navigate, there are no breadcrumbs and the pages load slowly. This should be improved.

ActiveCampaign Reliability

works well
rarely froze. but generally quite slow to load.
Pages load slowly. (I mean "slow" in XXI century terms, so not more than 1-2 seconds) Reports are quick. But to navigate between different functions is annoyingly long. I prefer to have an open tab for each function not having to wait for them to load.

Integrating ActiveCampaign

this end is easy. the other is harder.
  • traffit (via zapier)
it is still in progress. takes very long.
  • Traffit
only via zapier

Relationship with ActiveCampaign

We had different contacts assigned. The first one was not very professional. The second person was great, he assisted us with the launch.
he was helpful and available
if communication is not seamles, ask for someone else.

Upgrading ActiveCampaign

Yes - waiting for it to happen.
  • better email designer hopefully
  • faster and more effective design
Yes - we upgraded 3 times. it went smooth.
