Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

I email my list or segments of my list almost daily, between automation and campaigns. I'm sure I'm not using it to my best advantage even so. My automation range from a nurture campaign to subscribers who opted-in for a free lead magnet to purchasers of my offers for delivery and support. Without ActiveCampaign, I'd need a VA or two to manage all my correspondence. I love it for the robust features and especially for the visual automation flowchart. Creating automation with nothing to visualize is beyond my capabilities, but ActiveCampaign makes it easy.
  • Flexible segmenting with unlimited lists and tags
  • Integration with analytics from Google
  • That awesome visual automation flowchart-style builder
  • A silly complaint I have is that the middle of the menu list hides itself behind the bottom two or three fixed items on my desktop computer when I have the screen zoomed in where I can see it with impaired vision. As a result, I'm always losing the list menu when I need to add a new list.
  • I have previously stated that I shouldn't have to affirmatively SHOW my emails on mobile devices and make sure that feature is turned on for every email I send out. That should be the default. Before I discovered that, I had subscribers writing me that my emails were blank and had no idea why. That was embarrassing and not good customer service, and it shouldn't have happened.
  • To be honest, I am not facile with statistics. I know I should check, but I also know that I need an ESP, and I like the features and user interface of ActiveCampaign better than any other I have used.
I used AWeber years ago, and I couldn't figure it out despite having taught myself dozens of apps since 1983. Mailchimp was very expensive to compare to ActiveCampaign's most basic plan. Sendinblue was an accident and I used it for a very limited purpose. It didn't even stack up to Mailchimp as far as I could tell. ActiveCampaign is by far the most robust, even for the basic tasks I have learned to do with it. When I have the mental bandwidth to really dig deep into what I can do with it, I'm sure I'll be blown away.

Do you think ActiveCampaign delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ActiveCampaign's feature set?

Yes

Did ActiveCampaign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ActiveCampaign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ActiveCampaign again?

Yes

I always recommend ActiveCampaign to established businesses. And though I recommend starting with one of the ESPs that allow for up to 2000 free emails in a list for new authors, I am also quick to tell them that as soon as their sales justify paying for their ESP, ActiveCampaign is far more robust and flexible than any of those others. If ActiveCampaign had a small free option like that, I wouldn't have to recommend anything else to start.
