Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

Our email communications are simple. We don't use automated drip campaigns, etc. It's straightforward email notifications of regulatory and policy updates, new processes, reminders, etc.

Mailchimp and Constant Contact are more user-friendly and have better customer support. Not that ActiveCampaign's support is bad, they just do not seem to have enough people to cover it all. ActiveCampaign is more robust.

Do you think ActiveCampaign delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with ActiveCampaign's feature set?

Yes

Did ActiveCampaign live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of ActiveCampaign go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy ActiveCampaign again?

No

Best used for minimalist designs. I am still not completely convinced that it's the right tool for our company, yet I am glad that it's streamlined and less "fluffy" than the other options out there.

ActiveCampaign Support

ProsCons
Problems get solved
Support cares about my success
Slow Resolution
Not kept informed
Escalation required
Difficult to get immediate help
Need to explain problems multiple times
Slow Initial Response
I somehow was routed to the sales team, who actually resolved my issue rather than sending me on another round of being transferred all over.
Wait time is too long, and sometimes takes more than one person and/or more than one request for help. Issues are not resolved quickly. When I get a human to help me, they do a great job. The issue is getting to that point.
