Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR
We use this as one of the main protections on 100% of our endpoints and servers. The Advanced Reporting Tool and SIEM connection capabilities are used to feed to a third party Security Operations Center (SOC) for close to real-time review. We use the zero trust level of protection in Adaptive Defense 360, the disk encryption, and the patch management features.
Pros
- Endpoint threat detection & automatic response
- Patch management
- Disk encryption
- Centralized management
Cons
- Centralize management ease of use
- Native Security Operations Center (SOC) services (instead of needing third party)
- Reduced management time
- Simplified security policies compliance
- Improved security over antivirus/antimalware
Adaptive Defense 360 has a better management console than any of these 3 competitors. Adaptive Defense 360 has a better back-end tech support team than McAfee and SentinelOne. Adaptive Defense 360 has pretty solid reporting, way better than Webroot. Adaptive Defense 360 was cheaper than SentinelOne when we compared to SentinelOne. Adaptive Defense 360 offers way more protection than Webroot did.

Yes
Did implementation of Watchguard Endpoint Security go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Watchguard Endpoint Security again?
Yes
Centralized console tells you what computers it's found in your environment that aren't secure. With the Advanced Reporting Tool add-on, you can see a lot of data about what's going on in your environment. Patch management is good here too, it keeps a lot of the common third party (non-Microsoft) software patched up for us, using a pretty simple console. The ability to disallow unapproved applications is a big feature that we love with Adaptive Defense 360.
