Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Suite
We use Adaptive for all of our budgeting and quarterly forecasting across the entire company. In addition we use it for all of our monthly financial reporting at the senior leadership and department levels. It has solved the problem of consolidating spreadsheet files every time we do the annual budget or a new forecast, cutting out errors and greatly simplifying the process in general.
- Setting up new departments or changing a reporting hierarchy
- Creating new reports, whether at a high level or detailed view
- Creating a new budget or forecast version
- Creating formulas within a report or in sheets can be challenging
- Adding more icons and/or the copy/past function to help eliminate some of the repetitiveness when creating new reports
- Significant reduction in time when creating a new forecast or setting up the next year's budget.
- CFO is very happy with the consistency in reporting that Adaptive brings and the elimination in unnecessary errors.
- Department heads are very satisfied with the tool and the ability to drill into transactions at the account level.
Adaptive has improved data quality, accuracy and the overall reporting of financial results on a monthly basis. Without question, the budgeting and forecasting cycles have improved for everyone involved. No more wasted time collecting Excel files that may have errors in them.
I now spend less time on mundane tasks and more time discussing issues with my CFO, all because Adaptive has simplified the budgeting and forecasting process.

I've used Esbase and I find Adaptive much better.
