Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
We use Adobe Acrobat for all of our PDFs that run through projects. It's perfect for highlighting within academic articles to help us with strategic positioning day to day. We use the comment feature to add our thoughts and work as a team without having to be in person. It also allows us to edit previous documents with charts and analytics that we can then copy over to presentations. It's very simple to use and allows us to easily navigate day to day projects.
- Easy Exporting - Whether that be taking articles from the internet and turning them into PDFs or transforming our Microsoft powerpoints into easy to read PDFs.
- When I got this job, Adobe Acrobat made it very easy for me to sign my onboarding documents, and I often use the sign feature in my personal and corporate life.
- The comment feature allows my team to work effectively and efficiently together despite being in a hybrid workspace.
- Sometimes I have issues with getting Adobe Acrobat to load. It may be a personal computer problem, but it is one of the only apps I struggle with loading documents.
- The highlight feature is sensitive, causing me to have to zoom in close if I want to highlight specific areas near text that is already highlighted.
- The scroll feature can be sensitive as well when I present files to my team over Microsoft Teams. I am not sure if there is a setting that can fix that so it would be nice to know.
- I use it a lot to format, edit, and export my resume. This helps me export a professional looking file very quickly.
- The comment and highlight feature is used most by my organization in order to work on/mockup/edit files together in our hybrid environment.
- The organize pages feature allows us to quickly turn files around for the client when changes are needed. I also find this feature very useful when I do freelance design work.
- Prior Experience with the Product
My company purchased Adobe products for me, but if I was unemployed or working in another field, I would willingly purchase them myself. I have used it for 6 years now and can't imagine not having access to such as easy to use and efficient product. I prefer to use it over Microsoft or Google products because it doesn't give me as much trouble as that software does.
- Improved security is a great feature for our company because we deal with a lot of password secure files.
- It increases operational efficiencies as we are able to turn around files quickly when client edits come in.
- The software can take a long time to load, and there are errors sometimes. Typically while we are moving the files around to multiple folders.
As someone who works in Pharma, our documents need to be super secure in order to avoid lawsuits or information leaks. Adobe has been amazing in securing our documents and information. I never feel like I have to worry about data breaches or legal issues. It has been a trusted software of mine for many years.
I use all of my Adobe products for different reasons. As someone who works in creative a lot of the time, the products I listed are super important in my daily work. I typically use Adobe Acrobat to organize and export the files I worked on. I find it to be an all purpose software compared to the others and very user-friendly.
