Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC
We use Adobe Acrobat DC in our organization to create, edit, and manage PDF documents. Most other software struggles with editing and converting PDF documents effectively, and Adobe Acrobat DC does this very well. Within our organization, we have several people editing PDFs on a daily basis, so this product is used often.
- PDF editing. Adobe Acrobat DC does this perfectly.
- Ease of use. Adobe Acrobat DC is easy for new users to learn.
- Signing documents. It is easy to apply and save your signature within Adobe Acrobat DC.
- Inserting images can be difficult
- Beyond PDF editing, there are not many features to use
- Lack of integrations
- PDF editing
- PDF combining
- Signatures on PDFs
- Positive ROI: Increased operational efficiencies with managing many documents
- Negative ROI: Adobe makes it difficult to cancel subscriptions
- Positive ROI: Improved compliance with added signature feature
Adobe Acrobat DC's security and compliance standards and features do not impact our organization much because we mainly share documents internally and with contracted stakeholders. I have found at times that the security features can be clunky and cause some confusion. It also seems locked PDFs can be unlocked pretty easily. Overall, I do not see security and compliance as Adobe Acrobat DC's strong suit.
