Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

My organization uses Adobe Acrobat DC a lot, due to reports that are created both internally and externally. Reports are always generated in Word but exported as PDF so that they cannot be easily edited. Using Adobe Acrobat DC to view PDFs is a superior experience to viewing them within a web browser and still offers the freedom to edit the text if there were to be a mistake.
  • Viewing PDFs
  • Small edits to PDFs
  • Organising PDFs
  • More features, e.g. page transitions
  • Editor could be slightly improved
  • Embedding into websites
  • PDF reader
  • PDF editor
  • Increase in clients
  • Document consistency
  • Better overall look to documents
Adobe Acrobat DC is an easy-to-use piece of software and allows anyone in our organization to use its features. Everything on the menu is self-explanatory and each feature is simple to use to an extent, with the PDF editor being quite fiddly and harder to use than other software.
We use Adobe products a lot in our organization, and being an accountant our security and compliance standards are of high importance due to the nature of the company. Using Adobe products allows us to maintain the high standards of security that we have set and makes sure we do not breach regulations.
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the younger brother to Adobe Acrobat DC and acts purely as a PDF reader. Although Acrobat Reader DC does its job well as a PDF reader, Acrobat has a clear advantage over it with the extra features it has on top of just being able to view PDFs.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

When creating something in Word, it is more time-consuming to reorganize the pages. I often export to PDF and organize the pages within Adobe Acrobat DC as it saves time and is a much easier process. However, although you are able to edit PDFs, and this is great for spelling mistakes, it is less appropriate for major edits to documents and I would not recommend using it to do more than basic edits to a PDF.
