Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Animate

I work a lot with Adobe CC and when choosing a program for animations, it is no doubt to use another program by Adobe. Our clients ask for animation for their brand, campagnes and other related design projects. We create the impossible, and animations are impossible for most of our clients, they don't have the expertise to create susch things. They can think of concepts, but the execution of the idea is more difficult.
  • Interface is awesome
  • It perfectly fits the other Adobe programs, thus easy to learn when you are familiar with the programs already.
  • The fact that Adobe always work on imporving its programs, good to see that new features are coming
  • The processing time for exporting animation can be long somtimes. But overall is faster than premiere pro
  • There are limited effects one can use (when compared to after effects)
  • A bigger content library
  • Part of Adobe CC and therefore one subscription for all programs
  • I make a lot of illustrations in Adobe Illustrator, thus the integration of one program to another is great
  • The interface. A lot of programs have a bad interface. I also work with CAD programs, the consistent interface of Adobe is easy and better organised
  • Easy to learn and able to get results
  • Creating sothing that will exceed the expectation of the client
  • Time saving
  • Making our design more interesting and interactive
I find After Effects more difficult to learn. Both are in the same Adobe CC subscription and both have a great interface. But the possibilities in features make After Effects more difficult. Therefore I like to use Animate when the assignment does not need to much complexity, but still need that funny and well designed animation in its graphics.

Do you think Adobe Animate delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Animate's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Animate live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Animate go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Animate again?

Yes

For starters it is perfect and especially when you know the Adobe programs well. However, when you have more a advanced assignments and your client is asking for more effects, Animate is not your program anymore. Therfore the level of professional annimations one can make is limited. But for a specific group of users it is perfectly fine, and even fun because you can see results of your work quickly.
